Week 3 is in the books and August is all but over!
Next week we'll dive into Chapter 2 which will focus onsequences and functions. We'll also fire up our new set of class laptops for the first times and jump into the MATHia software.

Parents: Thank you for coming to Back to School Night last evening! It was great to get to see so many parents in attendance, and I really cherished the opportunity to share some of the big changes this year with you. I have a couple of additional resources that I'd like to share with you.
The first is a link to the official Common Core website that has a wealth of information for you. Also, our textbook publisher, Carnegie Learning, has provided a great parent letter, along with their outstanding parent and "at home" webpage, Home Connection. I can't emphasize enough how much I think these tools and resources may be of great benefit to both you and your student as we all navigate together this first year with a new approach.
