Friday 2/06


We finished Chapter 9 today with our last look at similar figures in Lesson 9.4.

We'll be taking our Chapter 8 / Chapter 9 test next Tuesday. Please be sure to begin your studying early to make sure you're fully prepared for next week.

Homework: Textbook pages 514-515*
*Use (0, 0) as your center of dilation for #3 and #4.

Here is this week's extra credit:

Triangle ABC has vertices at (-7, 4), (7, 2), and (1, -2). Dilate the triangle with a scale factor of 1/2 about the origin to form triangle DEF.
